"Boiler explosion," Em said, her fingers tracing the path of Bobby's scar on her own cheek and down to her neck. The scars covered more than that, she knew, but she hadn't seen the rest. "He saved a bunch of kids at a rez school, but couldn't freeze things completely before it blew up. He took the rest of the blast."
She'd heard the story a couple of times of Bobby ordering pizza for Dani and Dare, and the memory brought a soft smile to her lips. "Yeah, Bobby usually left the cooking to other people too."
